Changing Views; a Health Journey

This project is about shifting perspectives. Taking a negative position and turning it into a positive outlook. Once I began collecting different hospital Vistas, I started seeing opportunity in almost every room. I became eager to find new views but had to remain patient. Because many of my images, in this series, have to do with natural light and I prefer to capture moments where the light is dramatic. From 2022-2025  I have collected about 50 hospital views. That helped shape my perspective on where I was. I wasn’t just trapped in  a hospital. I was looking above and beyond. My mind was free to fly with the birds one minute or enjoy a peaceful sky in another. The images you see on this page are 12 of the 50 photographs that make up this series. They represent the best photographs, in my opinion, of the collection.
