“Capturing clean, crisp images is my passion. Being creative is my outlet.”

— Ryan Fitzgibbon

Ryan’s first photography job was with Coast Mountain Photography in Whistler, where he learned valuable lighting techniques, how to work professionally in challenging outdoor conditions, and—most importantly—how to properly expose film in an environment where weather and lighting can change by the minute.

He later immersed himself further in photography and enrolled at Focal Point Visual Arts Learning Centre in Vancouver, where he completed his Diploma in Commercial Photography.

After graduating in 2004, Ryan moved across the country to Toronto, where he worked with a wide range of clients including Snowboard Canada MagazineThe Walt Disney CompanyHolophone Microphone Systems, Bliss Hair Salon, the Toronto Financial District, Milo Casting, R3VE Business Developments, Deloitte Top 50 events, as well as politicians, dentists, musicians, and many other professionals.

Ryan now lives and works in Kingston, where his primary focus is portrait photography. He photographs professionals from all walks of life, along with our beloved four-legged companions.

In addition to photography and video production, Ryan has worked in several areas of media production. He recorded live audio for Vanessa Carlton—a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter—an achievement that was featured in Broadcast Engineering Magazine. He has also written workflow articles for Studio Monthly Magazine, and his photography has been published worldwide.

Ryan is a passionate photographer who finds inspiration in both people and places. Since being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2022, he has continued to pursue photography as both a creative outlet and a meaningful way to connect with others.

With many years of experience working in diverse environments—from live events to personal ceremonies—Ryan brings professionalism, creativity, and technical expertise to every project. Please browse the website to see a selection of his current work.
